Project Independence’s summer golf fundraiser at Rec 9 was a swinging success, with events held on both June 11 and July 1. Golfers came out in full force to support our mission while enjoying a beautiful day on the course.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, participants had a chance to win incredible prizes—including a round of golf for four with a cart at Rec 18, a round at Rec 9 with a cart, a free golf lesson with Rian Cooley, two pairs of golf shoes, and more!
Prizes were generously donated by American Golf at Rec 18 and Rec 9, Rian Cooley, Rec 9 staff, and the amazing ambassadors and staff at Rec 9.
We’re especially grateful to the Rec 9 ambassadors and volunteers who helped make this fundraiser such a success. Your support enables us to continue empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities.
