Project Independence serves individual in the majority of Orange County.
What is the cost for services?
Costs are paid through the Department of Developmental Services. Programs become vendors through the Regional Center of Orange County which disperses the funds from DDS.
How does someone receive support from Project Independence?
Regional Center of Orange County refers individuals to our various programs.
What type of programs are offered at PI?
Project Independence offers a Community Day Program, Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day. We also have a Supported Employment program which provides support for individuals at their place of employment. Our Independent Living program supports an individual with their daily life skills while our Supported Living program provides supports for individuals with more significant challenges.
